Marziya Rasalie
Nursery Practitioner level 2
Qualifications: NVQ L2, paediatric first aid.
additional role: creative and cultural advisor.
Marzyia has been a part of chrlie bears family since 2015 and involved with the mecread centre for many years before that. Marzyia loves cooking and lives in seaford with her family.
Zack Holmes
BA Hons in Digital Film Production.
Zack has many years’ practical experience caring for children including his 4 siblings and many babysitting jobs. Zack has been part of Charlie Bear’s since we opened, often helping out at events and covering for staff as well as using his film & photographic talents for the nursery advertising and children’s portraits.
Abigail Simpson
NVQ level 2 Apprentice
Abigail joined Charlie Bear’s in July 2020 as our first L2 apprentice. She is looking forward to learning all about being a nursery practitioner. Abigail brings energy, creativeness, and enthusiasm to her role and Charlie Bear’s family.
Abigail lives in Seaford with her family.
Anita Ryciak
Owner/Manager
Qualifications: NNEB, paediatric first aid, NLP Master practitioner, massage in schools instructor, forest school leader L3, 2 year lead, Level 3 Elklan Language and Literacy.
Anita created Charlie Bear's Nursery in 2015 and has continued to evolve the nurturing family environment of the nursery under our ethos of learning through play. Helping our bears to delight in development.
Anita lives in Seaford with her husband, 5 children and 3 dogs.
Chantelle Benton
Deputy Manager
Quaifications: NVQ L3, Paediatric First Aid. Beach school L3.
Additional role: SENCO. Healthy eating consultant.
Chantelle has been a huge part of Charlie Bear’s family since before we opened in 2015. She lives in Seaford with her husband, 2 daughters and Peaches the cat.
Sam Bennett
Nursery Practitioner level 5
Qualifications: NVQ L3, foundation degree in early years education, paediatric first aid.
Additional role: Health and safety officer.
Sam has many years' experieance in childcare, managing to achieve her degree whilst working as a fulltime childminder and raising her 3 children.
Sam lives in seaord with her husband, 2 sons and a zoo of animals.
Mia Surya Sparkling Ranee

Mia arrived in December 2019 she has become a favorite member of Charlie Bear’s family!
Mia is a Tibetan Terrier with non-shedding (hypo-allergenic fur). She passed her level 1 puppy training in February. Mia loves playing and being brushed, but especially sleeping!
