Anita created Charlie Bear's Nursery in 2015 and has continued to evolve the nurturing family environment of the nursery under our ethos of learning through play. Helping our bears to delight in development.
Anita lives in Seaford with her husband, 5 children and 3 dogs.

Chantelle has been a huge part of the Charlie Bear’s family since before we opened in 2015 and has 21 years of experience working as a nursery school practitioner. She also enjoys her role as a youth worker at our local youth centre. She grew up in South Africa but now lives in Seaford with her husband, 2 daughters, cat and dog.

Sam has many years of experience as a childminder and in a nursery setting, she is returning to
Charlie Bear’s with many new skills, supporting all staff to improve our teaching and delivery of
the curriculum. Sam is currently studying for her early years teacher status having already completed Bahonours in Children’s Care and education. Sam lives in Seaford with her husband (our on call handy man) three cats, dog and tortoise

Marzyia has been a part of Charlie Bear's family since 2015 and involved with the Mercread Centre for many years before that. Marzyia loves cooking and lives in Seaford with her family. Marziya is a keen gardener and often helps with nursey planting.

Zack has many years of practical experience caring for children including his 4 siblings and role as a youth worker at the Mercread youth club. Zack has been part of Charlie Bear’s since we opened, firstly as a volunteer whilst studying and a permanent part of the team since 2020. Zack utilises his film & and photographic talents for the nursery advertising and children’s portraits.

Sadie joins the Charlie bears family as staff having had both her children attend as little bears, now in school, Sadie missed us so much she’s joined the team to work closely with our under two's

Abby lives in Seaford with her two children and partner, she love arts and crafts and getting the little ones involved in making a mess. Abby completed her level two under Kay Pauley the same tutor as Zack and Marziya

Kezia has worked for a year at Charlie Bear’s Nursery, and may return when not on studdies at university or travelling the globe. Kezia has an interest in speech and language development.

Mia has been part of Charlie Bear's family for the past five years and is adored by all the little ones, when the garden is open Mia can often be seen keeping watch under the gate
